At FOSS meet, this year, we will be providing an oppurtunity to those people who would like to share and improve their knowledge through interaction with like-minded people, to participate in group sessions to solve common problems and/or find new ways to do things..

We will be putting up a few topics on this site which we think might be good ones for group sessions. If you have any ideas for such sessions, please start a discussion on the forum.

The participants can form groups based on their interest. Thereafter , the various groups will be alloted “hackzones” equipped with the necessary internet connection and other facilities for their work.

Some of the topics that we have come up with are :
1.Custom Distro
2.Making and uploading symbols for gEDA.
3.Familiarization with virtualization technologies ( Making virtual appliances for specific applications)
4.Designing themes and wallpapers and contributing to online GNU/Linux art repositories like gnome art etc..
